The Ball of Many Colors is a story about two sisters who were excited to go to the biggest festival of the year. All the other children in the village had beautiful new clothes with colorful, dangling sashes. The sisters felt sad because they did not have any new clothes to wear. The only thing they had was a ball made from scraps of bright fabric. They brought the ball with them to the festival, not knowing it would help them in a very special way.
